Care and Regeneration in Participatory & Transdisciplinary Research

+++ This webinar will be held in English. / Dieses Webinar findet auf Englisch statt. +++

Summary:
Repeatedly, participatory and transdisciplinary researchers find themselves in situations of seemingly competing demands between scientific excellence, social impact and commitment on the one hand and (self-)care on the other. Conventional structures with regard to funding, work processes, evaluation, and much more often confront researchers with additional challenges in their transdisciplinary and participatory work that they have to overcome.

This webinar provides knowledge about various forms of care and regeneration by means of a short input followed by reflection questions and subsequent exchange in small groups. Special attention is paid to principles, challenges and solutions of caring and regenerative transdisciplinary research. The webinar addresses the question of how scientists can not only take better care of themselves in their daily research practice, but of those with whom they collaborate. In order to train this ability, the webinar offers space to practice concrete methods for everyday work.

The webinar is aimed at scientists in participatory & transdisciplinary research who want to strengthen their competencies in caring and regenerative cooperation. It not only provides impulses for self-care, but also for how care and regeneration can be anchored in participatory and transdisciplinary research practice.
